PANDAN AND LEMONGRASS TEA

Pandan and Lemongrass Tea

Serve:3-4

Ingredients :

4-5                              Fresh Pandan Leaf-Cut into small pieces.

2 stalk                        Fresh Lemongrass-Cut into small pieces

1 litre                          Water

1tbs                             Sugar

Method

-Put the Pandan leaves, Lemon grass and water into the saucepan.

-Boil for 15 minutes.

-Add the sugar and simmer for further 2 minutes.

-Pour the mixture through the sieve to get rid of the leaves and undesirable particles.

-Enjoy this lovely tea with snacks of your choice. It can be served hot or cold.

Tips:

-Do not over boil the tea as it can be bitter which leave an unpleasant taste. 

-Pandan or some called Pandanus is versatile and very popular ingredients in Thai food cuisine. Check my Pandanus Jam Recipe (Gluten-Free) which is a lovely combination to this tea.
